Walking in the ways of the Lord means doing our God's priorities, recognizing that sometimes they are different from the ones we have drawn.
God accomplishes all things by his word. Therefore, the scriptures are a guide to organize our lives according to the divine will. Understanding and obeying them brings joy. They also teach us to discover the hand of God in each of our triumphs.
It is for this reason that in this chapter Ezra reads the law to the children of Israel.
