Cool stuff! Would you say this game was original? We're currently doing some videos on Darius Twin (Taito), and it seems like everything was just rehashed from Super R type.

I would say it's reasonably original. I mean the genre was pretty well established at this point but I don't think the levels or graphics were rehashed from elsewhere.
At least, not rehashed from other games. ;)
