Why is Nailed It! such a good show?
I don't now if you've encountered this Netflix show, Nailed It! but it's really good fun.
Have you ever seen you tube videos of people attempting to make their kids great birthday cakes and totally failing? This is the premise of this show.
The best thing about the show is the presenters, who have great chemistry.
Nicole Byer, a comedian, brings a great sense of fun with just the right amount of honesty to the show. While Jacques Torres, a world famous (apparently) chocolatier and chef is a generous and warm-hearted man.
They both navigate the inevitable culinary disasters with style and good humour. This is aided by the contestants, who for the most part are good hearted, generous and equally good humoured.
One of the reasons I really enjoy it is because Ms 9 - and most of her friends - love it. The kids get to see adults try and fail to create what they love - mostly cakes (in the most elegant designs: aliens, sharks, castles, the solar system, and the dreaded snake cake).
Ms 9 says she loves Nailed It! because it's fun, humorous and Nicole is so funny and weird.
So totally recommended - especially of you've got kids.
