Review of the film "The Curse of La Llorona" (2019)

The world premiere of the new film "The Curse of La Llorona" (2019), filmed by American filmmakers in genres such as horror, Thriller and detective, was held on March 15, 2019.
Russian viewers were able to watch this film in the country's cinemas on April 18, 2019. I watched it on the Internet, on one of the sites that provide online viewing services for various video materials.
By the name it seemed to me that the plot of this film will also be connected with mysticism. As it turned out, I was right.
The plot of the film is based on the legend, according to which the Ghost of a crying woman La Llorona, who a few hundred years ago in a fit of jealousy killed her own children, throwing them into the stormy waters of the river, and followed them, now wanders restless on the ground and looking for other children...
What's going on with those kids, I think you can imagine.
The main character of this film had a hard time to cope with this Ghost. For starters at all need was to believe in his existence.
Stated in the film genres were justified, he really was pretty creepy, although sometimes it was not all clear and understandable, there were small inconsistencies in his story. However, it is permeated with an atmosphere of mystical horror. Although, fans of hard horror this picture is somewhat disappointing.
Fine job with their roles and the actors who played in the movie the main roles, including Linda Cardellini, Roman Christa, Janey Lynn Kinchen, Raymond Cruz, Marisol Ramirez, and other actors. Especially convincing were the children.
I advise you to watch this film, it is quite good, although it does not claim to be a masterpiece.
