review - on Manyuu HikenChou

I have to be very lucky to be able to make a critique of an anime that exists only for the purpose of animating big breasts in 2D.

Hooray! But where most people see it as an absurd mammary parade hidden by bright lines, few are able to glimpse the brilliant parody that Manyuu Hikenchou tries to put in place.
From the beginning of the first episode, we are shown a scene where a young lady is cut off her generous chest and then, putting the era in the Edo era, a narrator tells us that big breasts are synonymous with money and power and flat women are not considered human.

Already, from the first minutes of Manyuu Hikenchou, most viewers scream with rage (or laughter). A company based on the size of female udders? Ridiculous but hilarious!
So, we begin to ask a lot of question about this system:
Has anyone ever decided that big breasts was a symbol of power? Being even considered more powerful than the Shogunat. How long has it been in place? Or it's like that from the beginning ... what's even more insane?

Exactly. The anime is a satire parodying the shenanigans of our governments in its quest for power, using the breasts as a basis of comparison or more skillfully the power of women in the political system!
Been to Singapore? How does the PAP (below), People's Action Party or Popular Action Party (right-wing conservative party) remain in power for so long (since 1959)?

It's not like they have big breasts that keep them in power all this time.
No, it is their actions in the shadows, hypocritical decisions, their nepotism (favoring the rise of their family or their entourage in the hierarchy of which they are at the top), the relations between the candidates in the presidential election and the Prime Minister and the PAP breaking their own rules.

At the same time, we observe the same maneuvers of the Manyuu clan in order to remain in power. Cutting women's breasts to enlarge theirs through a magical parchment.
All this is an allusion to corruption in political life where the means of gaining power are often in the shadows.
But let us examine the basis of this anime:
Why breasts as sources of power?
Why not the face or the hair?
The chest is a symbol of life. It provides essential nutrients to the infant, it is one of the only things the baby can ingest in the first few months of her life.
We find this theme in MacBeth, when Lady MacBeth starts her monologue (Act 1 Scene 5).

The breast represents life and life represents power. What makes the anime so interesting is the fact that Manyuu Hikenchou represents corruption and degradation of the natural order.
All this being an expression of the corruption and disorder of our society, or the law of the strongest, or as demonstrated by our heroine: the law of the biggest breast is always exercised.

The drawings, for their part, illustrate the generous female assets, with some details hidden behind a bar of white light.

Observe the image above. All faces have a silly look and Manyuu Hikenchoudordorde this kind of "quality" graphic (disconcerting graphical imbalance).
Yet, in every scene, there is something consistent: the breasts!
Is this a way of highlighting physical assets before personal qualities? A society that judges people on their appearance and on standards of beauty unintelligent and without virtue? A bimbo society where beauty prevails over intelligence and strength? Or can a person climb the ladder using seduction?

And what about the bars of lights? Is this another allusion to the political power of the present society? (censorship…)
Abandon your rotten animes with always the same idiotic heroes and little abandoned heroines, it is at Hood Entertainment (animation studio) that you will find what it takes to entertain you!
The music is good too. We are faced with a typical erotic anime, with its credits of beginning and end that are listened to without any problem.
We can also note the presence of several known doublers, but in the end all that we see is breasts! Another hint?
