funny i saw this a couple days ago :) i can't imagine what the subtitles are going to be like because there's a lot of korean details and nuance that people are probably not gonna understand. the actors are big time celebrities in korea, but for some reason i felt like this wasn't their best. i liked the storyline and the twists but i just couldn't get hooked on it. i think the director fucked it up (i didn't really enjoy any of his movies lol). i didn't read the comic but i'm guessing it's way more interesting ㅇ_ㅇ
i really enjoyed the first episode tho. but overall 7/10 for me
As far as it concerns the details and the Korean stuff that you mentioned that may be lost to translation i literally don't know what i am missing :P Thankfully i watch every film or show with English sub and not in my native language so i wanna believe at least to english the translation is decent. In my native language the subtitles are like a joke between me and my friends. He all gather and watch a random episode of a random show or movie (an English one in order to understand the dialog) and laugh our asses off. Worst subtitles ever :P
Now to the movie i don't know the actor nor the director so i am taking your word 100% for it. I am hoping for the second season to be better although i believe that it would be a greater idea for 12 episodes in season 1 and then a season 2 or the end if it's short. I say that cause till the time the second season will be up which i speculate at least 6 months, the hype will be lost. Also, i extremely like the fact that this is based on webcomic and it's an original coming from Korea!
yea man overall i think it's alright. i just think it could've been better with a different director. cuz it seems like they spent a lot of money on this. i wonder if season 2 will ever come out. but if it does i'm probably gonna watch it. but won't be one of my favorites :)
