Tour the main tombs in Gyeongju

I just went to Gyeongju tombs. Bulguksa is an honest bonus

The purpose was to see the large tombs intertwined with the people living in the city.

(Actually, I was going to go abroad, but I lacked money and time.)

I haven't looked around and I'm just going to the center of town and talk about the places I've been helping.

  1. Tombs around Cheomseongdae (Tomb of Namulmul) ★★ ☆

It is near the direction of Cheomseongdae from Donggung and Wolji. Large tombs lined up and the other two are quite large. About a little hill It is well maintained and there are many places to go around, but the fence on the lawn is too far away to see it up close. If you go a little further, there is Gyochon Village.

  1. Daereungwon ★★★

Paid (raised to 3,000 won recently), but there are plenty to see. The large burial mounds are densely packed and the interior is well maintained. So there are a lot of students and a lot of couples. There are some famous photo spots, so they line up to take pictures. You will often see couples going inside the turf, which is prohibited from entering, and the staff that restrains it. The famous Hwangridan Road is right next to it.

  1. Norigori Bungun ★★★ ☆

It's around Daereungwon, but it's good here. It's free and right next to the residential area. It was the atmosphere I wanted and I had the most access to the tomb of the grave. It's not too small. Everybody is only hills. There are not a lot of people taking pictures, but overall it is quiet. This is where neighboring residents come out to air. You can see the distinctive pair of Sillagobun or gourd-shaped tomb.

  1. Labor-ribe group (phoenix) ★★★

Right next to Noserigobungun. It is famous for its largest and oldest trees growing on the grave. However, there are only three burial mounds and the small tomb next to them remains almost uncovered after the excavation. The phoenix was a tree and large in size, so it used to be a premature hill. The empty lot next door is used as a performance hall, so it looks like a grave without any surprises.

Kita Gyeongju Oreung is famous, but it is small and far away. But the tomb is small. In addition, the size of the tomb decreases as we go further. In addition, during the Silla decline period, it becomes smaller, but when cremation is introduced by Buddhist activation, it becomes really simple.

As I look around Gyeongju downtown, I feel how many graves were quietly torn down and a house built on it. There are many big tombs left so far, but how many small ones are there.
