A bronze chest filled with gold and precious gems worth a million dollar is hiding somewhere in the Rocky Mountains waiting to be discovered.

Forrest Fenn is behind this chest, he's a 85-year-old millionaire.
"No one knows where that treasure chest is but me, if I die tomorrow, the knowledge of that location goes in the coffin with me." Forrest Fenn says

Fenn is a Vietnam fighter pilot and a self-taught archaeologist. He gave us some clues about finding the treasure, he said :
"the chest is 10-by-10 inches and it weighs about 42 pounds when loaded "
he also revealed that the box is hidden in the Rocky Mountains somewhere between Santa Fe (New Mexico) and the Canadian border above 5,000 feet in elevation.
He added :
" It's not in a mine, a graveyard or near a structure. "

Beside these clues Fenn wrote a poem that gives us 9 hints about the place where he have hidden the chest, the poem he wrote is :
As I have gone alone in there
And with my treasures bold,
I can keep my secret where,
And hint of riches new and old.
Begin it where warm waters halt
And take it in the canyon down,
Not far, but too far to walk.
Put in below the home of Brown.
From there it’s no place for the meek,
The end is ever drawing nigh;
There’ll be no paddle up your creek,
Just heavy loads and water high.
If you’ve been wise and found the blaze,
Look quickly down, your quest to cease,
But tarry scant with marvel gaze,
Just take the chest and go in peace.
So why is it that I must go
And leave my trove for all to seek?
The answers I already know,
I’ve done it tired, and now I’m weak.
So hear me all and listen good,
Your effort will be worth the cold.
If you are brave and in the wood
I give you title to the gold.
The treasure map and the poem from his book
Forrest Fenn lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico, the gold and gems he putted in the chest that he hidden 7 years ago are worth more than a million dollar because they are rare and special, meaning they are worth much more the ordinary value of gold, it is something that belongs to the ancients.
The hunt started 2010 and everyone can search for the treasure as Fenn said "its yours to keep" . Fenn is the only one who knows where the treasure is, that means even his family members can go search for the hidden treasure.
