RIP Stephen Hillenburg
After only two weeks we cried stan lee today we also cry Stephen Hillenburg
Stephen Hillenburg is the creator of the famous cartoon SpongeBob, Stephen Hillenburg, died Monday at 57 years of age following a neurodegenerative disease.
spongbob who marked not only our childhood but our lifes, by laughing alone or between brothers and parents, he always found a way to make us smile.
Launched in 1999, Spongebob is a naively optimistic character living at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in the city of Bikini Bottom. Broadcasted in more than 150 countries, the cartoon has been so successful that new episodes continue to be produced,and movies have been produced almost twenty years after the first broadcast.
On March 2017, Hillenburg had reported amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) or Charcot disease, a neurodegenerative disease for which there is no treatment. He had also expressed his intention to continue working on the series, despite the illness.
Rest in peace Stephen Hillenburg you will always be alive in our hearts. 💐
