in #ripple6 years ago

Ripple promises fast international transactions for banks, but PayPal already offers such features. What is the real difference between these two technologies and what is the point of Ripple when PayPal already exists? What do you think about Ripple vs Bitcoin? Leave your thoughts in the comment section!

To really understand how Ripple works and what XRP digital asset is I recommend this video I did a couple of days ago:

Good explanation. Following you here & ob youtube.

Hi Ivan, welcome to steemit 🚀🚀🚀🚀

I'm subscribed on your youtube channel, but anyway it is great to see you here. 👍👍👍👍🔥🔥🔥🔥

P.S. Agreed with all your statements according to ripple. It has been pumped mostly because the noob buyers buy based the price without considering the functionality and capitalization... The most speculative market was the korean one. Since the korean exchanges have been removed from the CMC , the ripple price droped up to 30%.

Very nice review!

thanks man for sharing

So informative! Thank you!

Just say no to centralized projects.
It's not that hard.

hahaha, great comment, you made my day! I completely agree with you! 😜

It is amazing how people are supporting Ripple when it is basically central bank-backed and that is what we want to get away from...

or maybe ripple is just a hedge. I believe in decentralization, but i also have some ripple.

haha yeah you are right ! :D We all should know where the money comes from. There is no space for centralized projects in this world anymore. #WeShouldKnow #CentralismSUCKS

I totally agree that there should be no support for these kinds of projects but in the short term Ripple seems to be a good investment, to a lot of people, since it has the backing of the current establishment.

A good investor should judge when something is overvalued and should not invest in that case. For now Ripple seems to be a decent investment especially for people who are not really looking to change the world but just make a quick buck. Of course there are still pitfalls like the fact that it is pre-mined and the centralization issue.

At the point where there is a proven technology that rivals the current established financial institutions we can all agree that projects like Ripple will not be supported since there will be a clear alternative but in the short run I am not aware of a project like this. A lot of them are on the way but nothing that is battle tested as of yet.

Thanks for the summary on XRP. I really don't think XRP is solving anything new in the financial space. I'm interested to see if they can maintain their momentum.

Ripple is NOT a crypto. It is a glorified centralized database run by a bunch of guys who wants to have fancy titles next to their name. A real crypto will never have a “ceo” or a “cto” or a “cfo.” A true crypto is decentralized and have no need for any of those fancy title.

Great video, as always!

Great review, keep it up Ivan
