The Rolex Day-Date 40 is has been one of the most controversial watches I've covered in my prior video reviews. Why, you ask? Let's find out...

By the way, the watch I'm reviewing on this video is the Day-Date 40 Presidential. What sets this model apart from the previous 40-millimeter Day-Date I reviewed on Watch Your Style is the striking green dial it comes with. On a backdrop of rose gold, the green dial stands out like a sore thumb (but in a good way!).

When the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date 40 was first released, I wasn't much of a fan, but over time, it grew on me. In fact, I like it quite a bit now!

At the beginning, I made a big fuss about why Rolex had to go from a 41mm to a 40mm President. Remember that? I took a lot of heat for it, but Hey, I'm entitled to change my mind, right?!

Even though I think that the Day Date 40 is a still a bit small for a man, I've gotten more used to it and it doesn't bother me so much as it originally did.

If you love the new everose gold piece from the Rolex brand, don't get your hopes up just yet. It's not an easy piece to find. If you still want to look for one, but prepared to pay between $30,000 to $35,000.

As far as the Watch Game goes, this watch is unique and definitely scores you points for taste in my book. It is definitely a contender in the space and I'm thinking of buying one for myself!
