II Jornada Rotaria Internacional de pesquisa de Cáncer de mama - Rotary Lecheria
Estimados amigos
El pasado dia 20 de Octubre se realizo con mucho exito la II Jornada Rotaria Internacional de pesquisa de Cáncer de mama a cargo de Rotary Lechería El Morro, Rotary Puerto la Cruz y Rotary Barcelona apoyados por la Clínica Day Hospital de Lechería, la cual fue totalmente gratuita atendiendose a cincuenta pacientes.
Estamos muy agradecidos con la Directora de la Clinica Dra. Endrika Urbina y su personal médico de ginecólogos, mastologos, imageneologos.
Se conto con la colaboracion de estudiantes de Medicina de la Universidad de Oriente y rotarios. A las pacientes se les efectuo examen físico y eco mamario, en funcion del diagnóstico de cada una de ellas se realizará un posterior seguimiento de los casos patológicos.
Durante la Jornada se impartio a las pacientes una Charla sobre los diferentes aspectos a considerar a la hora de prevenir el cáncer de mama.
Como sociedad debemos considerar la prevención como una prioridad y en particular en un tópico tan delicado como es la prevención del cáncer de mama en mujeres, con ello se salvaran muchas vidas y se lograra una mejor calidad de vida.
