I'm going to lead the charge with a sneak attack on the first snake clan warrior I see. He comes into the open around the new building. I know he can see some of us on the edge of the forest if we do not attack quickly. I do not hesitate. It's a moment of opportunity, and I take it. @rollthedice

There's a loud thump. His body slumps. I can feel it go limp through the shield and begin to slide to the ground. I do not hesitate. I swing around, using my shield as a guard against the onslaught of a potential weapon, and swing hard against the dead snake warrior's buddy who was right behind him. @rolld20

Drats! A miss. But I am satisfied of the 12 damage I did against my first foe, 10 of it on the sneak attack and the final death-killing blow with my shield, which now bears the honor of his blood on its face. I ready myself for the counterattack, shield out front, sword lifted and ready for the parry.
@blockurator your sword only do 3 dam per hit.
so you did 6 dam to him.
I thought it was 10 damage on a sneak attack. Did I read that wrong?
