Good News For Russian Investor: Cryptocurrency Recognized as Valuable Property In Russia
The Court of Appeals decided on Monday that a bankrupt individual's cryptographic money must be incorporated into the indebted person's chapter 11 domain.
The case includes Russian citizen Ilya Tsarkov who documented chapter 11 in October a year ago. The court has requested his digital forms of money to be exchanged to the trustee, Alexei Leonov, who is required to be given the private key to the crypto wallet having a place with Tsarkov soon. As indicated by Vedomosti, Tsarkov possesses very nearly 0.2 bitcoin which is worth around US$1,885 at current market rates
Preceding Monday's ruling, the case was heard in February by the Moscow Arbitration Court, which requested Tsarkov to unveil his digital currency possessions after he uncovered to the insolvency trustee that he had a wallet at Blockchain.info.
