Yeah apparently its a combination of both. You're essentially breathing in the salt aerosol, and in the process its also on your skin as your in there. Pretty wild and you can definitely smell the salt while your in there. Its not too strong of a smell but you 100% know your inhaling salt :) They say its safe so I won't argue with them lol
