Galaxy S10 : A feature recently awaited by ALL

in #samsung6 years ago

Apparently, Samsung will add a fingerprint reader under the screen of its Galaxy S10, which will be launched in early 2019. This information was revealed by the Korean website The Bell, which explains that Samsung has completed the screen design of its next phone.

The Bell also reveals that the S10 will have a screen of 5.8 inches and 6.3 inches for the S10 Plus. However, we still do not know how Samsung will call these phones: the name "S10" does not sound very good, and it is unlikely that the group will continue with a series of figures for its flagship product. Maybe we will see the launch of a Galaxy X, but this name should be reserved for the future folding phone. While you wait to learn more, it is obvious that it will be necessary to go beyond the numbers at any given time: we can not have an iPhone 18 and an S16, it would be ridiculous.

There is also a rumor that a 3D camera system could enter the scene and attract the attention of the public. Bell indicates that Qualcomm and Synaptics are responsible for the development of the fingerprint sensor.

Qualcomm has demonstrated this technology for a long time and equips phones currently on offer. But given Samsung's passion for Infinity Display, there will not be an edge on the front of the phone. The fingerprint sensor is usually relegated to the back of the phone, which makes it more difficult to use. And many customers complain that the position of the fingerprint reader makes them leave fingerprints on the camera lens.

A player slid under the screen would solve all these problems and would equip the phone with a rather surprising new feature. Obviously, Apple has completely abandoned the fingerprint reader and is now using FaceID, which recognizes the user's face. Samsung offers similar options, but fingerprint reader demand remains important, offering customers a simple and secure way to lock their phone.

Everything is standing. The S10 will mark the decade of Samsung's popular smartphone, and the group will want to do something at the level of Apple's iPhone X, with new features that make this phone talk. A built-in fingerprint reader may not please the imagination of the general public, but technology and newspaper enthusiasts would give the device meaningful media coverage.
