The meaning of 666 - Satan number

It seems that what you see in the Book of Revelation, where the writer refers 666 to an apocalyptic vision, is not all. Simply put: 666 was used as a code, and not as a particularly delicate way, if you were alive and educated at the time of the New Testament.

This text was originally written in ancient Greek, where the numbers are written as letters, as they are in Hebrew - the other main language of original Bible texts. For small numbers, the first letters of the Greek alpha, alpha, beta, gamma represent 1, 2 and 3.

Then, as in Roman numerals, when you want to form large numbers of 100, 1,000, 1,000,000, they are represented by a special combination of these letters. "Now, this means that every word also has a numerical value. Keep this in mind. So again in the Bible, where in Chapter 13 of the Book of Revelation is said: "Let us therefore understand the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666."

The English word "reckon" comes from the Greek word for "calculates" or "settles". So it's just as if the text says: I'll give you a riddle, you have to count the number of the Beast. So what does 666 mean when translating it using the Greek alphabet?

Well, given the hate of the Roman Empire at that time to the Christian religion, and especially its leader, Nero, who was considered particularly bad, many historians have called for references to this in the biblical text, which was not written in one vacuum, and was the product of its time.

When you see the original text, you will see that in this passage, the 666 letters are written in Hebrew, which gives a greater importance to the numbers. The writer was very clear, trying to tell us something. And of course enough, if you translate the Hebrew spelling 666, you actually mention Neron Kesar - the Hebrew spelling of Neron Caesar.

Even if you take the alternative pronunciation of the "number of beast," which is found in some early Bible texts written as 616, you can translate it as Nero Caesar. This adds to the kind of complexity of it, being an enigma and a secret.

Nobody wants to write a book, under an imperial persecution, saying, "The root of all evil is Neron Caesar." You would not write this. Now, when we say that 666 does not have any particularly remarkable mathematical features, this is not entirely true, because in fact it is called a triangular number.
