Goalkeeper Selection:

Today, I am writing about goalkeeper selection. Goalkeeper selection is always a tricky one because of the limited budget. You need to be very wise to choose premium expensive goalkeeper or mid price bargain goalkeeper. The choice is all upon you. I will be presenting some of the options for you.

A. Premium Goalkeepers:

1. David de Gea | Spain | 6.5m

The best goal keeper in the premier league, and number one in Spain is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeeper in the world. But he comes with hefty price tag of 6.5m, and he is the most expensive goalkeeper for this year. Expect the tricky fixtures against Portugal, David de Gea should comfortably accumulate points against Iran and Morocco.

2. Hugo Lloris | France | 6.0m

A quality goalkeeper at 6.0m, Hugo Lloris should be one of the favorites goalkeeper in the World Cup Fantasy. 2016 Euro finalist France are in good form. The easiest of fixtures in group stage for France against Australia, Peru and Denmark makes him favorites.

3. Manuel Neuer | Germany | 6.0m

Golden Glove winner of 2014, German Number 1 Neuer is another premium goalkeeper you should consider. He have established himself as the world's best goalkeeper. There is no need to describe his capability but the only worry is that Neuer was out of action for 9 months due to injury, and it remains to see who will be German number one for this world cup.

4. Thibaut Courtois | Belgium | 6m

Another best goalkeepers in the world, Belgium's number one Courtois is priced at 6 millionn, still an expensive price for goalkeeper. Except England, Belgium have pretty easy fixture in group stage. With one of the most talented squad and individual superstars, Belgium should go far ahead in knock-out-stage, and Courtois should be another good shout.

B. Bargain Goalkeepers:

1. Willy Caballero | Argentina | 5.0m

Sergio Romero is injured which means Willy Caballero is Argentina number one. 5 million is a bargain price for a goalkeeper of high profile Argentinan team. But defensively, Argentina is not doing good recently. Argentina is the beaten finalist from 2014 World Cup, and climb a step ahead. Caballero at this price is season keeper if Argentina does well.

2. Kasper Schmeichel | Denmark | 5.0m

5.0 million for Schmeichel is another bargain price for a goalkeeper, and he is another keeper to consider at this price. They should easily go into knockout stages, and further more, and Schmeichel is a quality keeper to have at that price.
