Being Yourself
Galatians 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another envying on another.
Lots of people find it difficult being themselves. They are always making one comparison or the other, relating everything they do to others and what others do for them to other things too. Because of which they are always under stress. The live like they are in competition seeking to win a race, they end up living a life to please others instead of enjoying their own life, developing themselves and just simply supporting others to also be the best they can be.
Now in our verse today we are been admonished to not seek vain glory and envy others. Thus in other words we should not live of competition and race. This is because we know who we are, In Christ we are royals. We have worth and values aside worldly accomplishments and as such those things should not be the only judging factor of a life well lived. Instead of trying to be better than others we should rather focus on glorifying God with all that is in us and all that we are given.
One way to a solid building of faith in Christ is have belief , it is the only thing that keeps Christians moving.
To envy someone is a bad practice especially to we Christians, and it does not show love for the person! Thanks for sharing with us.
