Growing UP

1 Corinthians 13:11 When i was a child, i spoke like a child, i thought like a child, i reasoned like a child, when i became a man, i put aside childish things.

We cannot live everyday being the perfect gentleman or lady, yes sometimes there has to be the cross over into the craziness. Sometimes we have to act weird and crazy and fool around just to calm our nerves and keep us sane but then it should not be a daily routine. It should not be an everyday thing. In the ministry some of us are still kids and would continue to remain so unless we focus on growing up. Growing up requires that a child eat the right food containing the right nutrients in their right proportion. As a child you rely on your parents for basically every single thing you can think about. As you grow up, you learn independence, not that you do not take things from them again or do not need them but then you learn the things that need to be done all on your own.

As a child in the ministry you need the word of God which is the balanced diet containing all the food nutrients in their right proportions to be able to grow, you fully and totally ask God for anything and everything even things that we are expected to do as humans because he did give us wisdom and he expects us to use it. But then as you grow you are expected to be able to distinguish between these things and do the things you are supposed to do and leave that to God. So how would you differentiate between the two then? You need to have the word in you. Pray today and ask God to grant you the wisdom of Growth that you may not be a child in the ministry of his calling.
