CHRIST OUR LEADER

If you were ever in involved in athletics you may have heard your coach say you shouldn't try to be in the lead when going for a long distance run or a marathon, the reason being that Leaders get exhausted quickly and turn to loss out in the final laps.

Being a Christian is comparable to running a marathon, it full of lots of obstacles and hurdles. When you try to be a leader of you life, be in full control, you will burn out just like the leaders of the marathon race. As a Christian, Christ should be your leader, he is to absorb our pains and sorrows, he is to serve as a light unto our path so we don't miss the road in the dark. He will unburden us when we feel burdened and make the road smoother for us, because he has already run the race and won. When we follow Christ's trail we will be able to sustain till we reach the final destination.
