Glory to God in the Highest

Psalm 145:1; I will exalt you, my God and King and praise your name forever and ever.

A lot of people does not recognize the seriousness and very importance of praising God. Most Christians would get up in the morning start doing their own things, others who would also pray would just jump right into it and start asking for things from God forgetting to praise him for all that has been done for them so far and continues to go on. God is a jealous God, he likes us to worship him and only him in the same vain, our God has attributes of Man too, because we were created in his own image. The Bible lets us understand that there are situations where God is angry because of what we do or sad or happy etc. This tells us that we praising God will go a long way to acknowledging him for all the good things he has done and continue to do for us. And this will actually push God to give more listening ear to us.

Imagine you toiling upward throughout the night to get a group project done or even do a very difficult work for someone and after everything the guy or person forgets to acknowledge or thank you in anyway, how does it feel. Most people would respond, i'd probably not help him or her again as he is ungrateful, whiles others will feel sad, and used etc. In that sense relate it to you relationship between God and build it well. With praises and songs the wall of Jericho fell, this should tell you how powerful praises, adorations and exaltations can be. Today i leave you with this message, learn to praise your maker each and every blessed day and count your blessings, naming them one by one and see how your life will turn around for greater heights.
