Be a Faithful Steward over God's Creation - Dress and Keep the Earth

Genesis 2: 15

And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.

Romans 8: 19

For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

It’s so surprising that most times, we the Christians do not know what our purpose on earth was, we don’t know and can’t understand why God created us and still kept us to this day.

So many people are dying, so many people are in the mortuary and some are in the grave today yet still, you are living today and looking healthy. It is because you are on an assignment and all of God’s creation is waiting in earnest for your manifestation.

The grand script and story will not be complete until our part or portion of contributing and servng in the place we have been called for is undertaken.

We are not expected to stay alive doing things that are not relevant and important or does not go in line with the dressing and taking care of the earth.

Have you ever travelled out of your home to a place where you stay for holidays where you kept nobody in the house to take care and you are back to base?
Did you observe that everywhere is full of dust waiting for a clean?

The penetrating ways of dust is so intriguing to me indeed. No matter how beautiful a house or a place (like the beautiful Garden of Eden) can be, without dressing and maintenance, the beauty is bound to be lost.

No wonder, God took the man He made out of dust to dress and keep the beautiful Garden of Eden for paradise can be lost through lack of dressing and maintenance.

• We are meant to dress and keep everything and everybody we find around us for future purpose.
• What of the house of your spiritual state I asked?
• What of the dressing and keeping of your heart which scripture commanded us to keep with all diligence for out of it cometh the issues of life (Proverb 4:23)

Like your house, like your heart, you must be deliberate and diligent in dressing and keeping it with the cleansing water of the word of God.

We need to know our purpose on earth so that we don’t waste our life span on earth like David said

“Oh Lord, teach me on how to number my days”.

He said the above so that he does not waste it doing things that are not necessary to fulfilling purpose which we were created for on earth.

Oh God, help me to be relevant in the place of assignment you have created me for – Amen.
