EFFECT OF MURMURING
NUM. 21V5-9
KJV:And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.
6 KJV:And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
7 KJV:Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.
8 KJV:And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
9 KJV:And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
Children of Israel were out of patient they refused to wait on God, they forget about the good things that God did for them, they choose to murmur against God. This causes the Lord to send the fire and the snake to the city and the snake overtake the city and many were killed because of their murmuring against Moses and God.
What do you face in life? What do you go through in life that makes you murmur against God?
Murmuring: is to express disappointment or to express dissatisfaction (pain).
Why murmuring about a little thing and forget about all the good things that God did for you. Don’t be disappointed and discourage in life because it will make you murmur against God. The children of Israel feel disappointed and discourage that’s why they murmur against God and they were bitten by snake. Don’t be discourage in life, don’t murmur against God to prevent yourself from the rod of God.
The little mistake they make, the effect was much still they have to go back pled Moses to pled God on their behalf to take away the snake and to save them.
Murmuring against God is not a good thing to do for thee is a effect for doing that and it’s not a good one.
Effect of murmuring
It’s brings pains and tears
It’s destroy
It’s brings death etc
You have to stop murmuring against God to prevent yourself from the effect that follows.
Murmuring against is not a good thing, if you don’t want to end up like the children of Israel, then you have to stop murmuring. Always be grateful to God and stop murmuring against God.
