Putting On The Armor Of God On A Daily Basis!

Alot of us leave home in the morning forgetting that we are in a spiritual fight. It's no big surprise we can progress toward becoming ovewhelmed or overwhelmed by the trials and temptations we confront. When you comprehend the idea of putting on the defensive layer of God, it changes how you begin your day; it fortifies your resolve to focus and serve Jesus whole heartedly regardless of what comes your direction.

These prayers can be utilized immediately after you get up in the morning as an approach to mindfully putting on the greater part of the protective layer which is the armor of God. Thus, you will invite the Holy Spirit to empower you, whom the Lord said He would send to be our assistance, comforter and our strength.

Lord, if it's not too much trouble give me understanding of what is valid and right in each situation I walk into today.

Lord, I thank You that I am loved by You and that You have washed my sin away and secured my uncertainty.

Lord, remind me today to be available to what You need me to do; utilize my hands and feet and show me individuals You would have me help out today.

• " In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one....

*Lord, I thank You that by faith in Your power I can be protected from temptation and wrong desires today. Guide me and protect me. Keep me from temptation and increase my faith in You.

Lord, give me the desire to read Your Word. Help me not to simply read it but rather to obey it also.
