KJV:The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.
KJV:Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
KJV:I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
KJV:He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. (psalm 37:23-26)

The are benefits for being good
Good there means obeying God, walking in his way, being upright, without blemish, always forgiving others etc.

Benefit of a good man

Already seen in psalm 37:23-26

• His seed shall not beg for bread.
• His steps are ordered by the Lord.
• Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down
• The Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
• the lord delighteth in his way.
• He shall not be forsaken
• His seed is blessed.

All this are the benefits and blessings for a righteous man (good man) and they are also many of them in the scriptures (Bible)

Benefits only come when you are good and righteous
Good doesn't works with evil or unrighteous people.
They are also benefits for being evil and unrighteous but it is not good for Christians like us and God doesn't want such benefits for his children that's why he says in psalm 37:27 that we should depart from evil and do good that we might enjoy this good benefit of being good.

To be a part of this blessings you must be a righteous man (good man) to be able to enjoy this benefit.
Just as the Bible says in psalm 37:27

KJV:Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.

This is the only way you can enjoy and also be a part of this blessings (benefits)

Then you will dwell for evermore and also enjoy the blessings (benefits ) of being good (righteous )
