A simple gesture

Everyone can be great ... because anyone can serve. For that you do not need to have a university degree. You do not need to make subject and verb agree. All you need is a heart full of grace, a soul born of love.

A HISTORY OF REAL LIFE

Mark walked back from school when he noticed that the boy walking in front of him had tripped and dropped all the books he was carrying, plus two sweaters, a baseball bat, a glove and a small
tape recorder. Mark knelt down to help him pick up the scattered items and, as they were on the same path, helped him carry some of the load. While they were walking, he knew that the boy was named Bill, that he loved video games, baseball and history, that he had many problems with other subjects and that he had just broken up with his girlfriend.
First they arrived at Bill's house, where they invited Mark to come in for a drink and to watch TV for a while. The afternoon passed pleasantly, between some laughter and some inconsequential talk, then Mark went home.
The two boys continued to see each other at school, had lunch together a couple of times and, finally, both finished primary school. Coincidentally they went to the same secondary school, where they continued to have brief contacts during years. Finally, after the long-awaited last year, three weeks before the end of the courses, Bill asked Mark if they could talk for a while.
It reminded him that day, years ago, when they had met, and asked him:
-Did you never miss that day come home so loaded with things?
I had emptied my closet because I did not want to burden anyone with that mess.
I had kept some of my mother's sleeping pills and was coming home with the intention of committing suicide. But after spending time with you, chatting and laughing, I realized that if I had killed myself I would have lost those moments and many others that could have followed them.
So, Mark, you see that that day, when you picked up my books, you did a lot more ... You saved my life.
John W. Schlatter

God is a God of gestures. His biggest gesture was when he opened his arms and allowed himself to be crucified for saving us. In the old testament it was about hearing the law and practicing the gestures of the law. But for Christians, our gesture is faith. Without faith there are no gestures. People who never give anything, do not love. If there is no gesture there is nothing. The Bible is full of gestures, one of them was that of Zacchaeus, who gave four times more than he had taken. That is why Jesus said to him: "today salvation has arrived at your house", that gesture made his change palpable. Our gesture of generosity, of kindness is very important ... our gesture must be healthy.

The fruits and gestures are what help us achieve impossible things. If you live looking for God, you are looking for the impossible of Him.
The physical cross does not heal, but the gesture of Jesus Christ in it. And it reminds you of what He did for us.

Faith without works has no gesture.
«You have heard that I said to you: I am going, and I am coming to you. If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I said that I am going to the Father; because the Father is greater than me. "
God knows how to put people on their knees.
A person without gestures is in darkness, there is no inner affection. He has nothing to offer to God.
All those who dodge offerings, God thinks about blessing them. The blessing of God is achieved by paying the price. You can not live without the blessing of God.

Today is a good day for a gesture of love, in your home, in the church, in your community.

We mice reckon this story by John W. Schlatter is wonderful.

Not simply because God may have intervened, but because people, just like us mice, are social creatures and we are happiest and healthiest when we love and are loved by others.

So get out there and talk to someone today. You might save a life - or you might just make a friend.

we limit ourselves thinking about how little we can give, for the life of another person everything is enclosed.

but we deliver, it is impossible for us to love gestures are actions that demonstrate our faith.

We do not know that he can make a simple gesture in the life of another, good reflexion @darlenys01.

A gesture is worth a thousand words, we preach and act, the Lord says the faith without works is dead.

Simply bless to be blessed. The sowing that gives fruits.
