Jesus forgives and heals.

9 Then Jesus, entering the boat, passed on to the other side and came to his city.

2 And it came to pass that they brought unto him a paralytic, lying upon a bed; And when Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Have courage, son; Your sins are forgiven.

3 Then some of the scribes said within themselves, This blasphemer.

4 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Why do you think evil in your hearts?

5 For, what is easier, saying: Sins are forgiven you, or saying: Get up and walk?

6 For you know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins (then says to the paralytic): Get up, take your bed, and go home.

7 Then he got up and went to his house.

8 And when the people saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Jesus showed in all his ministry the authority he had as a child of God, for example the chapter that precedes this we can read the authority that Jesus has on sickness, nature and demons. Now his power over sin is revealed. Jesus' response to faith (here it is about confidence in the providential power of God) of the paralytic's friends demonstrates its effectiveness for the benefit of others.
Jesus, seeing the faith of the people who brought the paralytic to be healed, told the paralytic: have confidence, son, your sins are forgiven. In this way we can observe that Jesus not only healed him, but also forgave his sins.

for this reason the scribes thought within themselves that Jesus was a blasphemer.
The accusation of blasphemy would be correct if Jesus had not been a son of God.
Blasphemy: to blaspheme is to verbally confront the majesty of God and the penalty that corresponded was death by stoning.
Among the many issues involved in this incident is the relationship between this man's paralysis and his undisclosed sins. Taking care of them, Jesus healed him and made clear the authority (power) he had received to forgive sins.
By maintaining public contacts with known sinners, Jesus challenged social conventions, while demonstrating his authority over human traditions that undermined the laws of God.
That is why Jesus shows us with his miracles that He came to this world to forgive, heal and restore man to God. It shows us that He alone has the ability and authority to forgive sins. There is no other name, there is no other way, no other savior, but Jesus Christ the son of God, King of Kings and Lord of lords.

Jesus heals and also forgives a multitude of sins

"How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how he went about doing good and healing all those oppressed by the devil, because God was with him." (Acts 10: 38)
Jesus commissioned ALL BELIEVERS, OF ALL NATIONS, UNTIL THE END OF THE WORLD, to lay their hands on the sick, promising "they will heal" Marc.16: 15-18
