God bless each reader of the blockchain.

God has given us in a very special way with the fruit of the Holy Spirit. It is the Christian's task to develop each component of the fruit of the Spirit. In this message, we will focus specifically on treating what is known as "patience" as a component of the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

Patience is an admirable quality in life that few people seem to possess, even Christians.

According to the Word of God, our life must be characterized by patience, because it is important to develop the mature and stable character that the Lord desires to be produced in his people. "Love is suffered, it is benign ... it is not irritated" (1 Corinthians 13: 4-5).

Patience is the ability to absorb problems and tensions without complaining, and not be affected by obstacles, delays and failures.

God allows us to have difficulties, inconveniences and even sufferings, with a specific purpose: they help us develop the appropriate attitude so that our patience grows.

When the Christian sees that these tests are resolved in his favor, which allows him to achieve convenient results and that reinforce his character, he sets the stage for the development of a patient spirit.

The Holy Spirit of God helps us to develop the fruit of patience in our lives. Remembering that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience ... "(Galatians 5:22).

The impatience has produced a sequel to destroyed homes, ulcers, etc., and has set the stage for more world wars. "

A little understanding and analysis of the impatience on our part can be convenient and useful. What impatient me?

Am i immature? I'm picky?

"But solid food is for those who have reached maturity, for those who use the senses exercised in the discernment of good and evil" (Hebrews 5:14).

Am I selfish, legalistic or demanding? Can I leave room for the mistakes and imperfections of others, remembering that God is also acting on them?

"... Be patient with everyone. See that no one pays another evil for evil; first always follow good for one another, and for all" (1 Thessalonians 5: 14-15).

Do I get irritated easily "because someone is getting away with it"?

"Do not be impatient for the wicked" (Psalm 37: 1)

Am I envious or jealous?

"Be also patient and affirm your hearts. Brothers, do not complain against each other, so that you will not be condemned" (James 5: 8-9).

Am i materialist? Am I dominated by the spirit of this world?

"If, then, you have risen with Christ, seek the things above ..." (Colossians 3: 1)

Have I really overcome the "secular mentality"?

"... well, I have learned to be happy, whatever my situation" (Philippians 4:11)

Am I being insensitive to God's efforts to take care of myself, allowing me to suffer adverse circumstances, irritations and tensions, so that, by His grace, I learn to transcend being and grow in love and spiritual stature?

"My brothers, have great joy when you are in various trials, knowing that the test of your faith produces patience. But be patient with your full work, so that you can be perfect and honest, without missing anything" (James 1: 2 -4).
