Great things come, amazing things God has prepared for each one of us!

There is a passage in the book of Joel 2:19 which says: "The Lord will answer and say to his people: Behold, I am sending you bread, wine and oil, and you will be satisfied with them; and I will never again make you a reproach among the nations. "

All this new and powerful time begins with repentance, since from verse 12 of this chapter, it is God's call to his people: "Therefore, now, says Jehovah, turn to me with all your heart, with fasting and I cry and mourn. Rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn to the LORD your God; for he is merciful and merciful, slow to anger and great in mercy, and he is grieved for the punishment "Joel 2: 12-13.

Maybe you are wondering what does that new wine that God is promising us mean? To answer that question we have to go to the book of Numbers, where it narrates that time in which the Lord takes his people out of slavery and breaks the chains of around two million people. Later God takes his people to the gates of Canaan and announces to them that it is time to enter the land that He had promised them. At that time twelve spies are chosen to bring reports of a land they had never seen. Days later two of them brought a giant bunch of grapes, this is when we have to understand what those grapes represented; It was the announcement of a new time, of a new wine, the end of a season of slavery and the announcement of the greatest conquests.

In the New Testament we also find a surprising passage, when Jesus was at the wedding at Cana, the wine was finished and Mary told him to do something. The order of the Lord was to fill the pitchers with water. It was at that moment that a miracle and a sign occurred, that the Israelites understood, the water became wine and once again a new time was beginning and the promise was becoming a reality.

"The Spirit of the Lord Jehovah is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me; He has sent me to preach good news to the dejected, to bandage the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and to the prisoners to open the prison; to proclaim the year of the good will of Jehovah, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all mourners "Isaiah 61: 1-3

If the wine that God gave to Israel was a new wine, the wine that Jesus gave them was a better wine. That wine represents abundance, above any religious thought you should know that this wine represents abundance. In Canaan it represented vineyards, walled houses, fortified cities full of good things. In Cana of Galilee it represented overabundance, you should know that in the miracle Jesus gave them 720 liters of the best, around 1,000 bottles of the best wine. Jesus does not know the shortage, He is accustomed to abundance, the streets of heaven are golden, He multiplies the bread and excels for many. This is the Lord, if you want to bring it to our days you will be amazed to learn that today the value of such a quantity of the best wine is around half a million dollars.

Have you ever carefully read what Mary prophesied by the Holy Spirit when she went to visit Elizabeth? In the Gospel of Luke 1:53 it says: "* He filled the hungry with good things." * That word filled also means giving goods with superabundance, so even though Mary saw Jesus being born in a manger, she was prophesying that He would fill the hungry with wine.

But this is not all, the best thing is that there is a better wine, remember the passage of Acts 2 when the Holy Spirit came upon the church, the people heard them announcing the wonders of God in other languages and thought they were drunk. This was a sign of that best wine that Joel prophesied:

"And after this I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and your daughters will prophesy; your elders will dream dreams, and your young people will see visions. ** And also on the servants and on the handmaidens I will pour out my Spirit in those days. " Joel 2: 28-29

This is what is coming, we will be filled with the oil of heaven, the anointing for great conquests, we will all be filled with the word of God and the new wine of joy and the abundance of God will reach us.

But there is a clear warning, because that new wine can not be thrown into an old wineskin. The people of Israel lost that wine out of disbelief and did not enter. In the same way the people of Nazareth rejected Jesus and the old wineskin of unbelief caused them to lose it too.

Another old wineskin is the tradition, the new wine will bring many changes and you must be willing to leave those traditions that stop that wine. Many people can let criticism or murmuring enter the heart, but new wine is for those who leave traditions aside and follow God; because great, amazing and overflowing blessings come for you. God wants to satisfy you with his bread, his wine and his oil; you just have to believe and enter this new time.

God gave Israel a new wine upon entering the promised land, in Galilee he gave them a better wine, but he is promising us that we will overflow with knowledge of the word of God, that the anointing of the Holy Spirit will be poured out on your life for to conquer and joy, rejoicing and healing will come from your wounds. Get ready because your wine presses will overflow with bread, wine and oil. "
