Did you know that Jesus is praying for you?-¡ Look at the prayer of Jesus!
Today I invite you to reflect on those words spoken by our Lord Jesus Christ in the book of John 17.20-21:
20 But I pray not only for these, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,
21 so that all may be one; as you, O Father, in me, and I in you, may they also be one in us; so that the world believes that you sent me
When we speak of prayer we sometimes think that it is not necessary to maintain a life of prayer before the father, however the Bible has shown us in a thousand ways that prayer is essential in the Christian, because Jesus himself prayed to the father to give us example of its importance. But perhaps what you did not know is that Jesus also prays to the father for each one of us.
In this passage Jesus intercedes for his followers, but he was also praying for each believer through the ages.
And do you know what Jesus' concern is for you and me?
Jesus is concerned about your actions and behavior with your brothers, Jesus is concerned about the disunity he has been seeing in his people through the ages. for this reason I believe that this prayer of Jesus to the father is part of the so-called "priestly prayer" and in a certain sense implies the farewell of Jesus and his incensing cry for us his "beloved ones".
Those of us who have come to faith in Jesus Christ, can hear when the Lord prayed for us.
We were in his mind when He was preparing to put life to provide forgiveness for our sins, abundant life now and eternal life with Him. (Jeremiah 1.5) "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you"

Do not you think our God is wonderful?
God had already thought of us before forming us in the womb of our mother and that has no price or logical imagination in the human mind.
Jesus prayed that we would have unity with other believers, through the nations, of the cultures, of the time, of the street, of the sanctuary ... He prayed that we would have unity with Him, with the Father and with the Holy Spirit because He I knew that without Him we could do nothing, nothing we could achieve. This is so that our lives can convince other people of who He is.
Only through Jesus will human beings be able to love their fellow human beings, speak truthfully, be free and above all live in unity with one another.
He declared his love for us and promised to continue making himself known so that we can experience more and more of his love.
Centuries ago, Jesus was thinking of you when he prayed. Today and every day, He lives "interceding" for you (Hebrews 7.25). Your longing is for you to be one with Him and with other believers, so that those who see it can believe in Him. Pray that you can always be one with Him and one with other believing people. Thank Jesus Christ because he has been praying for you for a long time.
