GOD WILL HELP US TO BE FAITHFUL

in #sc-v5 years ago

The letter to the Hebrews offers all believers this powerful and vitally charged appeal:
Therefore, holy brothers, participants of the heavenly call, consider the apostle and high priest of our profession, Jesus Christ; who is faithful to him who formed him, as was Moses in all the house of God. Hebrews 3: 1-2

The expression "participants of the heavenly calling" simply means this: that we hear the heavens calling us. At this very moment, the heavens are calling a people not to live for the world, but every morning they wake up and hear Christ, who calls him to Him. They look at everything around him and shout inwardly: "Jesus My heart is not here, my future is not here. Nothing in this world satisfies me. Only you, Lord, are my life! "
I believe that today many in the body of Christ are not tied to anything on earth. One could take away their jobs, house, bank accounts, business - everything except the clothes that cover them - and they would still continue to love God with all their heart. But fidelity to God does not simply mean the willingness to lose everything for his sake. In fact, the Bible says that we can give our body to be burned as a testimony, but without the proper motivation - without love in our hearts - and we will die in vain (see 1 Corinthians 13: 3).
Some think that fidelity to God consists only of living without sins of sensuality or maintaining victory over sinful habits. Others think it means to be constantly reading the Bible, praying, giving money and attending church. There are those who conceive it as doing good deeds, or staying pure avoiding all evil. These things by themselves can never make us faithful to God. He will then ask: "Do you mean that all my efforts against sin, all my sanctified service for God and all my cry in prayer are not considered as faithfulness? If that is not being faithful, what will it be? "
All these wonderful things are, in fact, commanded by the Word, and we will do them if we are faithful; but in themselves they do not constitute fidelity. Faithfulness to God is impossible unless it springs from a trusting and believing heart. Here is a very simple statement at first glance, but we must not overlook if we want to be faithful to God: We can not hunger for Christ if we allow the lack of faith to take root in our hearts.

Lack of faith, even in its slightest form, is something that God detests. It hinders God's work in us, and it is the sin that lies behind all estrangement from Him. We can be completely detached from worldly possessions and long for the coming of Christ in our hearts. We can hear powerful preaching, sing the praises of God in his house, and devour the Word of God every day. But unless we pray like this: "Oh God, let me listen to your Word in my inner man; let me believe that I can apply it and that it will become life in me, then it will have no effect. The Word that you hear must come mixed with faith: "It did not profit them to hear the word, because it was not accompanied by faith in those who heard it" (Hebrews 4: 2). Let these words sink in you: If what we read and hear is not mixed with faith, it does not help us!
The verse at the beginning of this chapter says that Jesus Christ was faithful to God in the same way that Moses was faithful to him. How was their fidelity measured? How did Christ and Moses to be truly faithful in all things? They were considered faithful because they never doubted the word addressed to them by the heavenly Father. They knew that what God said He was going to do, He certainly was going to do.

Then fidelity is simply believing that God is going to fulfill his Word. In this sense Christ and Moses retained their trust in the principle firm until the end (Hebrews 3:14).
His was not a faith of ups and downs, of having it today and not having it tomorrow. His faith was unshakeable to the end. And just as Christ proved to be faithful in his trust in the Father, we who We will see how our fidelity is measured by the same norm: "Christ [was] a son over his house, which house we are, if we hold firmly to the end the confidence and the boasting in hope" (Hebrews 3: 6) ).

By increasing our trials and intensifying the battle, our flesh can be fatigued. Throughout time, many Christians let fear and doubt infiltrate, and lose their trust in God, their faith as children in Him. The caution and habit of questioning invade the heart. But I do not want to reach the end of my life like so many believers I've seen, whose years were wasted because they did not know where they were in Christ. When the end came, I thought that they would have a certain strength, that they would refresh themselves by knowing that they were closer to meeting Lord.

But instead, they went out with a groan because they did not know They held firm until the end. Now, when I look at the path I have left to travel in my life, I see that time is short and I want, above all, to be rejoicing in hope, Staying firm until the end.
Let me tell you how we can become faithful to God and maintain our trust throughout our days. If we want to be as strong in our last days as we We are now in his presence, so we must take these two things seriously.

@xiore A faithful person is one in whom God can trust, and implant his laws and commandments in his heart, and who obeys carefully in all things. A faithful person is unbreakable - he does not hesitate. And obviously, to achieve this, obedience is enough and with the help of God we will achieve it.
He who walks in the way of faithfulness also walks in the way of obedience, in everything. Obeying every command that God writes in his heart. Always, without exception.
