When trying to sign up they present a fake steemconnect site, steemconnect.ml. This site grab your Steemit passwords!

Good catch! they probably will wait until the user has some decent amount of SBD / STEEM then steal it all. We must all be vigilant for these types of phishing expeditions for our user names/keys.
What I notice is a couple new accounts with a day or two with decent posts suddenly spamming comments with this ad. These accounts are probably the first VICTIMS as a new user don't have a clue about this and just see the great free offer.

I also noticed @recieve.steem is a scam connected to Phishing site known scam steemil .com DO NOT GO THERE or SIGNUP OR LOGIN there ist a FAKE steem site) so yeah don't gio login to steemil .com but its FKE teem site that looks JUST like steemit and fools people and posts comments on peopels posts, @steem4depoor was hacked (and now in new account @steemgh) but yeah hus steem4depoor account got like 150 steem (ad counting, all his rewards still being stolen on the dily no response form steemit inc) like $200 stolen stolen and now its been 4 day no response frs teem account recovery :( I wish @pikokernel would help us but he doesn't work theur at stinc anymore :(
@ackza so sad to see folks who work hard loosing their account. thanks for sharing. i also updated on a spam that is trending in my latest post. seems we have to be extra vigilant and educate our followers regularly especially the new ones
