Let's use sound to lift objects... Acoustic Levitation, Nerds !!
A couple of years ago, I made this video explaining how to sound can be used to lift objects. It's still interesting to think about how sound can be used to lift and move the objects around us. Of course, Maglev does to pretty good job of competing with acoustic levitation. However, Maglev requires a track which is the down side of it, and if we see the bigger picture then Acoustic levitation might just be the next thing we need for futuristic purpose. Just think about what could be achieved from another breakthrough in Acoustic Levitation.
