Difference b/w Molecule and Molecular Ion

Here I am going describe the difference b/w molecule and molecular ions.

MOLECULE:

1.                     It is smallest particle of a substance which can exist independently 
2.                     It is usually formed by chemical combination of atoms except the noble gases.
3.                     It is always neutral
4.                     It is a stable unit

MOLECULAR IONS:

1.                    When a molecule loses or gain electron then the molecular ions are formed.
2.                     It is formed by ionization of a molecule.
3.                     It can have positive or negative charge.
4.                     It is not stable but reactive specie.
