Mixture and its types

I am going to describe the important topic of chemistry mixture and its types.

Matter is of two types, pure matter and impure matter .Pure matter is called substance while impure matter is called mixture.

MIXTURE:

                    Mixture is a impure matter which is made up of two or more elements or compounds mixed up physically without any fixed ratio by mass.

The components of matter retain their properties and can also be separated by simple physical methods such as filtration,sublimation,crystallization etc.

Types:

         Mixture are of two types:

1). Homogeneous Mixture

2).Heterogeneous Mixture

1). Homogeneous Mixture:

                                                    The mixture that have uniform composition throughout is called homogeneous mixture.e.g ice cream,air etc

2).Heterogeneous Mixture:

                                                     Those mixture in which the composition is not uniform throughout is called heterogeneous mixture.e.g soil,wood,rock etc
