Probably there is no ecological need for the Guinea worm ...
I don't know for sure--the water flea doesn't need them, because I checked after I read your comment and it seems they eat everything. So let's agree--the world doesn't need Guinea worms.

I think you're right, we all have our place. If we remembered that more often, maybe the planet would be a lot cleaner and safer. Good point.
