Glider repairs!

Hey everyone, I recently went with a mate to drop off a few things at his folks place. It was quiet an education needless to say these folks have more parrots and dogs than I have ever seen.

My mate used to be in a business with his father in law, they used to repair gliders, these were scattered all over the show so I thought lets take a few sneaky pics why not and so I did!

To be totally honest I know just about ziltch about gliders never knew they were transported in trailors like this but alas, we learn a new thing daily do we not ;)

This is the view from inside all packed away snug and neat the tail at the top to be easily installed at the airfield.

Gliding is quiet an art from what I am told the amount of time that one is able to achieve airborn all depends on the weather, updrafts as well as how high you were initially 'towed' by another aircraft!

A quick view from the back canopy open. The car on the right was rolled by my friends mother (long story) but gladly she is ok.
