Will we be monitored by a huge species? Just like we observe bacteria

When I was a child, I was lying on the ground watching the busy ants. I think that if suddenly a pot of water falls on the ants, they will suffer a disaster.So, is it possible that there is a huge species that is watching us, and we are like ants.

Then earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, droughts, etc... Are these sudden disasters a prank for this huge species?
