Watchtower of our body ... Brain tonsil
When talking about emotions, memories and sexual desires, we must know that there is a part of our brain responsible for the manifestation of them; being this the amygdala brain. source
Which, being part of the limbic system, is in charge of alerting our body to situations of danger; transforming itself in that way into the "watchtower" that sends the message to the individual and that will result, that we are afraid to experience different situations that could put us at risk.
The cerebral amygdala, works as a regulator in our body at the moment of feeling some emotions and allowing us to distinguish them in other people; these emotions were always related to negative feelings of the human being, however in studies carried out jointly at Yale University and the University of Pennsylvania, it could be concluded that said amygdala is related to the feeling of kindness that we show at a certain moment, being Empathetic and generous with others.
La mencionada amígdala, no solo regula sentimientos de miedo y generosidad, sino que cuando estamos frente a un momento de placer, como es el comer o tener relaciones sexuales, la actividad en la amígdala estará aumentada; estas dos acciones que realizamos y creemos que son muy opuestas una de la otra, para nuestro cerebro son igual de gratificantes, activándose en él las mismas zonas de placer.
That is why, when we eat, we can decide that we like to eat and that we do not like it; This happens not because we are people with an "educated palate" or because when we eat we have "free will", but our brain tonsil is working perfectly and has chosen for us the dish we are going to taste.
Likewise, we must say that it is responsible for the existence of memories in our minds of events that we thought were forgotten, that is, memories of traumatic situations that occurred in our lives and that without even knowing the answer, this passage is found in our "box of the memories "or cerebral amygdala.
As we have seen, the brain is an organ composed of different systems, which contain mysteries to be discovered by man, fulfilling a function which influences every part of our body and which in turn has an impact on our health.
