Nope. That is a specific project, but built on the concept of decentralized science (them naming that makes it confusing but whatever); DeSci is the unifying concept similar to DeFi being the unifying concept behind Ethereum, maker, etc.
So far most of the "how" work seems to focus on publishing, which is great, but just like how there is more than loans to the financial system and all of it is interconnected, there is more than publishing to the scientific system.
