I typically watch birds on Saturday and Sunday. This is my report for 23-24 February 2019. I missed a few weeks of counting due to travel.

The 2018-2019 season goes through 5 April 2019.

Saturday, 23 February 2019

Freezing rain fell overnight and on Saturday morning everything was covered with a layer of ice. There was freezing fog and freezing drizzle with gentle winds from the North Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon was windy with blizzard conditions (0.55 inches or 1.39 centimeters of precipitation).

High: 34 (F) or 1 (C)
Low: 24 (F) or -4 (C)

Sunday, 24 February 2019

After the blizzard cleared the skies were clear. Sunday was cold and windy. On Sunday morning I woke up to an additional 7.5 inches of snow.

High: 23 (F) or -5 (C)
Low: 6 (F) or -14 (C)

Highest Gust: 47 mph

Squirrel

This squirrel was filling up on peanuts before the blizzard hit on Saturday afternoon.
