Microscope Imagery and Artistic Renditions - Posting 003

Hello steemian biologists!

This time I am showing amazing little vesicles outside of a seed from a tree that contain little spiky crystals that aim to protect the nut from being eaten by the likes of birds etc. If i am not mistaken, these crystals are in fact dangerous for human and animal if not just simply painful on the tongue I guess!
