ELECTRICITY and it's WONDERS

One of the most important discoveries of science in this modern era is the discovery of Electricity. It has basically revolutionized the life of man. You just can't imagine life without electricity. Life would only be boring. Electricity has made life easy and comfortable for us both in domestic and industrial usage.

Electricity is though ruthless in its power, working and effect. But man has however found solutions in harnessing its power.

Today, we see the wonders of electricity in several ways. Everyday, we are always surrounded by devices and machines that uses electricity. The chief among them is our electric light and fans. We all feel the absence of electricity. Our homes, offices, streets and other places are illuminated by electricity.

Electricity is very helpful in domestic life. It performs many of our menial works just like an obedient servant. As mentioned earlier, it keeps our buildings, surroundings illuminated at all times. We wash our clothes in washing machines. During the hot weather we use the fan or air condition.
Electricity cooks our food, ironing our clothes, clean our rooms with the help of electric cleansers, electric - barbed wires are also used for protection.

Electricity has also find its usefulness in the transportation system. There are now inventions of electric tramways and railways which is by far a quicker and better means of travelling than the trains driven by steam engine.

Another wonders of electricity is its means of communications. Electricity sends messages easily between various countries. We have telegrams, which carry messages on land while cablegrams does the same work on seas. While telephone messages save the happening of accidents and disasters and controls serious riots.

Electricity has found great usage in our industrial development. Almost all the factories run with electricity. It turns huge and heavy machines in these factories. Media houses are also wonderful contributions of electricity such as Television, Radio, Cinema.
Through the Television and Radio we can watch and listen to songs, dialogues, stories and the current happenings around the world. Cinema has also become one of the cheapest means of recreation. Photography has also played an important role to make our world beautiful.

In the treatment of human diseases electricity has done a lot. In the field of medicine, it is as a result of electricity that new discoveries and inventions have been made.
It has been found useful in the treatment of cancer. It helps in finding out bone fracture and internal diseases. X-ray is very important in science. With the aid of electricity various disease are cured. Even proper lighting is necessary for operation in the theatre.

Thus, we see that electricity plays an important role in health restoration. Electricity is the center of modern civilization. In its absence modern civilization is incomplete.
Electricity has thus done a great service to mankind.
