Aye-Ayes are the world's largest nocturnal primate that grows up to 12.5 in and 9 in for its tails. Even if at first glance they do not look as a primate, but still they belong to the family of apes, chimpanzees and humans. An amazing characteristic about this animal is that it is the only primate that uses echolocation to hunt for preys. It taps the tree bark feeling for vibrations of insects. This animal is an omnivore.

Because of its strange looks, natives of Madagascar kills aye-aye upon sight for they believe it brings bad omen; thus, making humans its top predator. Aye-Ayes are near threatened. In fact, a kind of Aye-Aye (Daubentonia robusta) is extinct which is also endemic in Madagascar.
