DID YOU KNOW NASA have 91 gbps internet speed

in #science6 years ago (edited)

The space organization's shadow network can transfer 91 gigabits per second, or 91,000 megabits per second. For comparison, the average broadband connection speed in the U.S. is 6.6 megabits per second - or more than 13,000 times slower. Click here to see if your Internet is above or below

NASA does not uses simple internet like us as they are doing reserch they have to transfer files from one server to another or files or pictures from space which are of huge sizes so they use there own server to transfer the files not this our usual internet.

There speed might a bit higher than the every others speed in USA but there was a hoax as NASA has an internet speed of 91gbps which is wrong

Scientists in the UK have created the fastest ever real-world internet connection, using commercial-grade fibre optic lines to clock up speeds of 1.4 terabits per second. It's believed to be the fastest speed test of its kind, and would allow users to hypothetically download 44 high-definition films in a single second
