Microscopic Midnight- Shiny Sparkles with a Side of Sniffle!
Welcome to Microscopic Midnight! (A.K.A. When we fall into a Nyquil coma from sickness and miss Microscopic Monday all together!)
In our recent travels we got hit by the most microscopic menace out there! GERMS!
So while we sniffled and snuffled through the house we were able to gather a couple sparkly things that caught our eyes clouded with cold ick.
Perhaps it is the fever, but these pictures seem absolutely fascinating.
Or maybe we need to take our kleenex and go back to bed..
Either way..

A mother of pearl necklace!
If you couldn't tell.. we really liked this one.
It kind of looks like butterfly wings!

Piece of glass that may be a diamond? Not sure.

Fear not, for we are currently quite medicated and are expected to make a full recovery! However, for now, we live in the kingdom of cough drops, Robitussin, and Nyquil.
Wish we had gotten a microscopic look at the germs that hit us! I bet they looked mean!

Right now we are using a no-name digital microscope we found a deal on online! It goes up to 500x, I believe!
We may upgrade the equipment soon, though!
