Its called cannabis. Marijuana is a slang term made up in the 1930's to perpetuate the slander and propaganda against a plant that was, prior to that point actually compulsory to grow! Like the prohibition of alcohol, the 'powers that be' will use any means they deem necessary to push their agenda.
