為什麼我認為Tasteem現在是不會成功的
五個月前寫過這一篇介紹Tasteem的文章：
文章裏頭表達了我對這個項目的喜愛之處，唯獨，我沒說的是，其實我早已覺得這項目這樣的運作模式是不會成功的。
在Steem上面說人不好的事，尤其是說Steem相關的人或物的壞話，通常不是這裡的文化。不過，既然這想法已經很久了，而且我說不說跟項目火不火大概也沒關係，只是路人一枚，我也不是針對這項目，而是討論關於App的成功條件，那就說說吧~~~~
話說回來，我其實是很喜歡他們的介面跟設計的，如果能夠調整營運模式的話，或許還是很值得期待的，甚至是非常有潛力的呢~~~~~ (不過我說不說跟項目火不火大概也沒關係，只是路人一枚)
廢話不多說，開始：
一個具有成功潛力的Steem App應該具備什麼條件呢？在我看來，至少要有的一個條件就是存在"價值循環"的可能途徑。例如Steemhunt，獎勵獵人發掘新鮮產品，聚集這些訊息，可以進一步吸引喜歡嘗鮮的消費者，進而產生後面宣傳廣告告的可能性，進而帶來價值，進而鼓勵源頭的內容生產.... 此為一循環
另一種成功潛力，則是能夠提供獨到的服務給你的客戶，這就不涉及內容生產問題，例如DrugWars, EpicDice...
顯然Tasteem應該是比較偏向第一類，但是讓人看不到價值循環的可能性，Why?
Tasteem是餐廳美食評論，理論上是可以輕易創造出一種價值循環的想像，為什麼反而沒有？很簡單，餐廳是有地域性的，真正對人有意義的餐廳評論，都必須是非常在地化的，才能產生價值。例如，無論我看到摩納哥那間咖啡廳多美多好吃，對於我都是幾乎無用的資訊，只有單純美學或增廣見聞的微小價值。我需要的是密集且有內容的台北市餐廳評論。但是在Tasteem上看不到這種努力，頂多是有一些語言的聚焦，但那都是成效甚微的。沒有sink，就沒有價值啟動的可能，無論你拿再多SP代理或是介面再美，都是徒勞的。
怎麼改？隨便說說的話有可能有兩種方式：1) 以城市為單位來經營，挑一些重點開始做樣板實驗，把單個城市的餐廳評論弄到一萬筆以上，那或許是個開始，開始有人會想參考tasteem來選餐廳.... 2) 把美食改成食譜，食譜就是去地理化的一種方式，也還是符合Tasteem的意象，那就轉作跟食物烹調處理相關的資訊網站... 這就比較可以想像了....
最後，Tasteem不能成功，不代表你不能成功擼Tasteem，這一點，可得明辨囉~~~~~ LOL
他們好像沒有這樣想,只是單純想吸引玩steemit的人去發文而已
不過他們好像還是有分地區,像日本泰國等等

Hello there. This was a little bit hard to understand. Although I never used Tasteem interface before even though I am aware that such an application exist. It is not because I do not like the project or anything like that. However, I have seen many people posting restaurant and food reviews through this project which, to be honest, I find very interesting. I think it does have value because I value them and I will tell you why. For example, I have never really travelled around the world even though I planned to in the nearest future, but when I finally get the chance, I want to know which restaurant is good and which one is bad. I mean, it'll be awesome if I learnt about a restaurant in a particular country before I go there. From these reviews, I could even decide to visit the restaurant if I get too excited. I am no foodie but I have a feeling that once I start travelling, I might start seeing ART in food and end up liking it. Who knows? 😜
It is okay if you think that their business model is not fascinating. I have never really used the app before so, I have no idea. On a scale from 1-10, how would you recommend me or anyone to use this app?

我也認為steem上以英文掛帥，對社群推廣障礙太大。steempeak就是不願意做其他語言的介面。
另外，沒有各語種分開的smt獎勵池，不用英文寫作的獎勵低下。這在推廣一個含社交的區塊鏈，在非英語母語區就是有很大的天然阻礙。各dapp也一樣。
問題很多，語言還不是最大的問題呢
或許吧。但我認為這是相對容易解決，高性價比的問題。
所以，SMT出來後（類似目前SCOT），不就可以解決這問題？
對。不過要看設立、運行成本是否夠低。還有管理、系統問題。現在SCOT是中心化，要改一些設定，SCOT bot改一下就好。沒做好智能合約，只是現有一些參數設定，要改一些當初沒寫到的SMT設定可能要等硬岔，比較麻煩，而且受制於見證人。
語言真的是問題之一…如果讓我寫全中文的探店，我一周可以寫出來2-3篇，但全英文的差不多一篇。倒也不是英文能力的問題，純粹是更舒適🤣

问题是Steem的体量并不大，根本做不起来
可以參考SCOT，利用Steem，自己去開拓特定城市的市場。表面上可以跟Steem無關。
