Can we please have more tags for our posts on Steem?

Ever since the introduction of SCOT tokens and SCOT projects just a few weeks ago, I've been having dilemmas over what tags to include within the 5 tag limitation. As I primarily post using Busy, the # busy usually occupies one of the precious positions for my tags. And as I'm a member of # teamaustralia, that has also become a standard tag in my posts.

The growing number of SCOT based tags

Now this jostling for a position in the 5 has intensified ever since SCOT projects have become more prominent.

First, there was SCT. When I came across SCT, it was as though I had been taken back to July 2016, when I first came across Steemit. I wrote about the excitement and anticipation I felt when putting up posts with the SCT tag in this post.

Then a couple of days ago, we saw the birth of Palnet and Palcoin. As the project is headed up by @aggroed, who also was one of the main players in bringing Steem-engine and SCOT to life, the announcement of Palnet naturally got my attention. As Palnet is closely aligned with the Minnow Support Project, it already has a substantial user base, and along with the positive economics of the coin, I certainly will be following this project closely.

One tag left

So now that 4 of the tags are automatically taken for all my posts, I'm left with just one tag to position my posts.A very tricky task at times. So I'm really hoping that in the future, the number of tags on posts could be expanded, especially as more and more SCOT projects come on to the seen. I mean, let's face it, who doesn't want to be earning as many different tokens as possible?

So what do you think? What are your thoughts on the limitation of 5 tags per post? How do you try to best tag your posts?
